Cat-Loving Family Discovers Their New House Comes With New Renovations and a New Cat After He Shows Up, Realizing That His Previous Owners Left Him

Buying a new house is exciting, right fellow cat connoisseurs? A new place, a new beginning, and a new…cat? Well, you could consider that a signing bonus, if you really like cats! Good thing we do, and if we bought a house and it came with a new cat, we would happily accept. This happened to one purrticular feline-loving family, where they bought a house finished the renovations, and moved in to find a new fluffy feline perched in their living room! 

His name is "Knuckles" and with those big toe beans he has, it seems like an appropriate name. In all seriousness though, we're happy that the cat distribution system worked properly and Knuckles is now with a family that won't leave him behind. Congratulations on your new cat! He looks like a feisty feline, so properly prepurr yourselves.

    This is Knuckles. He walked in one day and after searching for his owners, we found out he belonged to the people who lived in our house we bought last year. They left him. He showed up right after we renovated. He became a part of our family and we love him so much.

    You can never assume why someone does something - we're all dealing with our own things in life and have our reasons for doing things. Maybe they were running from a mob boss and had to get out quick. You can never be too sure!

    This is Oscar and he came into my life in a similar way. His family moved away while he was taking a nap in my house so now I have a cat.

    In all seriousness, though: abandoning pets when you move is just low. I'm already trying to work our what the logistics of moving our two from London to Scotland would be. (Best guess so far: a plane flight with a cat carrier.)

I picked her up and she's been my girl for 10 years now (happily asleep on my lap currently). I still get angry thinking about how people can leave their pets behind like that. Glad you found the little guy!!
